The Lorenzo de’ Medici Restaurant has offered traditional Tuscan cuisine since 1950. Located in the heart of Florence, the business grew over the next 10 years, reaching its current high quality of service.
1966
Following the Flood of Florence in 1966, major renovations were made, conserving the characteristic rustic appearance. The kitchen offers dishes made with the freshest local ingredients, which are sourced from the surrounding Florentine province, the nearby San Lorenzo Market and from small local producers. Only genuine products are used, remain faithful to the high quality Made in Italy style.
2012
The restaurant added some renowned Italian dishes to its Tuscan offerings. The culinary journey evolved with the creation of a completely gluten free menu for celiacs and gluten intolerant customers.
